Charities

BadCredit.org strives to carry out its mission to inform and educate its readers, promoting better credit decisions and personal finance habits. We strongly believe in fostering financial literacy from youth to adulthood. We proudly support the following foundations and organization that promote financial literacy.

Our mission at BadCredit.org is to inform and educate Americans with bad credit, enabling better credit decisions and a brighter financial future.

Charities We Support

In our efforts to realize our mission, we support many financial literacy foundations by making financial contributions to the following non-profit organizations. Learn more about each charity and why we support them.

DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation

DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation

DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to building a better tomorrow by educating students today, in order to forge a financially literate America.

Adam West

Why We Support Them:

The U.S. education system tends to not put a heavy focus on financial literacy, so we love that DoughMain is committed to empowering schools and educators to deliver well-developed financial curriculums.

Operation HOPE

Operation HOPE

Operation HOPE is a for-purpose organization working to disrupt poverty and empower inclusion for low and moderate-income youth and adults. Operation HOPE's focus is financial dignity and inclusion.

Ashley Fricker

Why We Support Them:

Poverty rates are at alarming levels, and a scary number of Americans are a medical emergency away from homelessness. Operation HOPE is committed to ending that cycle by lifting up communities.

Jump$tart Coalition

Jump$tart Coalition

Jump$tart is a national nonprofit coalition of more than 100 organizations from business, finance, academia, education, government and other sectors, which share a commitment to "financial smarts for students."

Toby Sembower

Why We Support Them:

Many students leave school with the credentials to get a job, but do they know what to do with that first paycheck? This coalition is dedicated to giving young people the knowledge to better understand money.

BadCredit.org Wealth Wise Scholarship

BadCredit.org Wealth Wise Scholarship

The BadCredit.org Wealth Wise Scholarship is open to US undergraduate and graduate students seeking a career in the finance industry. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit.

Ryan Frankel

More About Our Scholarship:

Educational attainment is a major predictor for future financial wellness, which is why we think it's crucially important to support students who are seeking to work in the finance industry.
