They always go on with the team,” Hoey said. “Every once in a while, that random, wild shot — a piece of outreach, an unsolicited email, a ridiculously big ask of somebody you’ve just met — will land. But most of the time, we have to do things in incremental steps with the help of a whole lot of people. Incrementally moving down the field is more likely to get you a touchdown than thinking you have to throw a Hail Mary.”
