Simon Cave is an entrepreneur, author and founder of TheBecomer.com. The Becomer was created to guide and educate others to find their path to financial independence.

1. What is the inspiration behind The Becomer?

The Becomer has a simple mission: Giving young individuals and parents financial superpowers to reach financial independence and enjoy a creative life.

What I mean by “giving superpowers” is the platform gives them tools, systems and mechanisms to build several income streams that make them money while they sleep.

We live in a world where uncertainty is much stronger than it used to be. Thirty years ago (and even before that), people used to get hired for a job and be certain to have it their whole life (whether they liked it or not).

Today, things have changed. Getting a job nowadays doesn’t mean you will keep it forever.

In this environment of uncertainty, we need to take action and use our creativity to improve the quality of our life. That implies to be confident with financial future. That is what The Becomer is all about.

2. Do you have a background in finance?

I have a background in business and entrepreneurship. I actually had the chance to study business in three different countries: France, Italy and Denmark.

I was also an entrepreneur in Montreal for a project called Mirametrix Gaming (if you love eSport, you should definitely check that out) and I built my first online platform at the age of 19.

3. What sparked your interest in the financial field?

The research of my freedom. I think life is too beautiful to spend our time at work if we don’t like it.

Most people go to work at 9 a.m. and leave at 5 p.m. They come back tired of the day. They eat, watch TV, go to bed and do it again the day after. When it’s finally the weekend, they feel great for a little while and then feel depressed on Sundays because Monday is coming.

I don’t want a life like that. I want to do whatever I want, whenever I want and with whomever I want. That burning desire pushes me every day to get financial knowledge.

“Perseverance is the

main word to keep in mind.”

4. Could you tell us a little about your ebook?

This guide gives the best techniques I know to make money online. Most techniques I wrote in this ebook are techniques I personally use to make money.

You will find out how you can transform a website into a money machine, how to build an income stream by selling ebooks and much more. I wrote this guide for absolute beginners.

5. Which financial topic do you like to write about the most?

I love writing about making money with websites. Before really getting into web marketing, I used to study stock exchange investment and real estate investment. What struck me is the high barrier to entry in those worlds.

Let me explain: When you want to invest in stock exchange and real estate, the barrier to entry is pretty high because you often need some capital at first.

It also requires a lot of time to learn the main concepts.

Let’s take stock exchange investment, for example. If you want to invest and have a good return on investment, you’d better have trained for at least six months on a simulator to get used to the analysis of the trends. Before making some real money, you’ll have to study for a little while.

Creating a website in this case is much easier.

Of course, you have to learn how to build a website and optimize it, learn a bit of SEO, get into social media and build an email list, but that’s way easier to learn than “renting share,” for example.

That’s why I love teaching this topic. With the techniques I give to my readers, they can start making money in less than one month. I even give them a 100 percent guarantee.

6. What is one tip that would be valuable to readers?

Perseverance is the main word to keep in mind in my opinion. If you want to become financially independent, you will need perseverance.

I think that’s a must for anyone who wants to succeed at anything. That strength allows you to keep going no matter what.
